Auntie Violet (1907 - 1998) died today, 30th April 1998, aged 90 after a final illness of 10 weeks. Of course she will be sadly missed particularly by daughter Pat. She is the last of that generation in the family and survived her son Malcolm, who died last year.

Thanks for everything Auntie Vi, you were a wonderful person.

All the more poignant now, last year Pat and Bernard arranged a surprise 90th party at Ferraries Restaurant, Great Eccleston near Preston. It is great she had such a wonderful time on her last birthday. Sadly, Pat has now died after a long illness.

Garden Cottage

This is Jean Williamson from Scotland on a visit in 1996. We have just made a short but enjoyable visit to them this October 1997. Graeme and Jean lived next door to us in Whitesand Close, Leicester in the mid 1960's and we have been friends since then. Jean has just been to Australia to see daughter Janet, Peter and two grandsons, Rowan and Kyran.
